SXSW 2012 (aka the most insane/best week of your life) is fast approaching. We are especially excited here at PIT because we have TWO rad events planned.

The first is a day party on Thursday, March 15th. Meet us on the rooftop of the Whole Foods flagship store in downtown Austin for great music (duh), free booze (Thirsty Planet/Barefoot Wine), cool people (me), and custom clothing (Dog & Pony) for sale. What more could you ask for?

Our second shindig is the Playing in Traffic Records Official SXSW Showcase. This takes place on Friday, March 16th at Maggie Mae’s Gibson Room (corner of 6th and Trinity.) We have an awesome lineup of our beloved label bands, and a couple very special guests.

Need a last minute holiday gift? SPEAK has got you covered with some limited edition holiday bundles up on their merch site.

The deluxe bundle comes with their debut album “I Believe in Everything”, signed poster and t-shirt, and an audio holiday card. What is the audio component of the card you ask? Well, Jake, Joey, Troupe, and Nick put together a holiday song and recorded it in to a VERY limited number of those fancy recordable cards. The band also did the artwork on the card themselves. The bundle will come with a download code so you can listen to the song on your computer/iphone/in the car, although carrying the card around and playing it repeatedly would be cool too. Only ten made!
