Los Lonely Boys brought down the house for the final performances of their recent Acoustic Brotherhood tour, which have been captured beautifully on their new release, Keep on Giving: Acoustic Live! (Sept 28, Playing in Traffic). Pushing their typically-exhilarating live show to new heights, the Garza brothers introduced surprise guests Alejandro Escovedo and Carrie Rodriguez, who lent their considerable talents to an incendiary take on the band’s Grammy-winning “Heaven” and the Rolling Stones’ “Beast of Burden,” which Billboard recently premiered: http://bit.ly/9S6g0E
While Los Lonely Boys have always turned out powerful work in the studio, Keep on Giving finds them in their true element: onstage and feeding off their fans’ energy. The massive crowds in Colorado gave the band plenty to work with, and Los Lonely Boys responded in kind with some of their most thrilling performances to date.
“We were just excited to play!” says Jojo. “To record a moment in time is a special thing, and now we get to share it for the rest of our lives with the true fans of Los Lonely Boys who made these shows possible.”
